I had a day 5 2BC blast transferred yesterday and I feel so upset with its grading. We have nothing left to freeze as they said the grade was too low on the other that they won’t freeze. I feel like our journey is over already with such a low grade embryo. I’m a bit heartbroken. Just wondered if anyone else has been in the same boat.
Thanks xx

Hello! Just to say, a friend of mine had 2cc eggs and was told they should both be put in as her chances were so low so it upped the chance of having 1 - she had twins from it, and they’re wonderful, perfect boys xx
Hi hun, I had a 3BC was very disheartened by the grade but our consultant said he’d seen lower grades in live births and higher grades not. We are currently 14 weeks pregnant. It was our only blastocyst. Wishing you lots of luck 😘
Thanks so much for replying you’ve made me feel so much better. It’s just so hard when you come this far and you get a ‘low grade’ but it just goes to show that they can be little fighters like yours. Congratulations on your pregnancy I’m so pleased for you xx
I too was very disheartened with my little 6BC particularly because of all the negative things I'd read in the forums, with most people only being pleased with As and Bs. I am now 12 weeks and my baby seems healthy. If you read in more depth you will see that many women had failed transfers with top grades and successful pregnancies with lower grades. Best of luck in your journey X
That’s lovely news congratulations. May I ask was embryo a day 5 or day 6 blast? I have a day 6 5AC which may take a chance with should it be I need to xx
It was a day 5 but I have another one of the same grade but day 6 on ice. Embryologist said it just took at little longer to get there... Good luck with your transfer
