I just had the results of my ERA test back and it shows that I am pre-receptive, and need 6.5 days of progesterone before my next transfer. I'm so pleased as I had a suspicion that it would be the case. Obviously it would have been good to know this sooner but at least now we can make the changes we need to.

Hello, do you know how long are the ERA test results valid for? I had mine back in April but my FET was postponed because of COVID; then we couldn't travel (my clinic is overseas). My doctor says that as long as my periods remain fairly similar in length and intensity we could go ahead in January with my FET... I haven't found any research evidence backing this up. I was one of the first 5 patients in my clinic to have an ERA test so it was pretty much new in there. I'd like to hear from others' experience with this. thx
The ERA is meant to be a bit like a scratch so in that respect you may not get the benefit of that part but as to the actual ERA timing it should work out fine so long as you are using the same FET protocol as you did for your ERA and follow the recommended timing. If it makes you feel any better, I had mine in the December and out recent transfer that worked was in the following August. Good luck.xx
I am waiting to start my FET cycle after having my ERA results, its given me the excitement back a little after so many failures. I only need 12 extra hours progesterone so literally 1 extra pessary. Hope it makes a difference even though its only a small change. Good luck with your next cycle xx
