Any luck with Menopur & Synarel

First failed IVF cycle with Gonal-F and now on my second cycle with Menopur & Synarel. I am nearly 38 and had my scan today and have about 6 follicles only. Second scan due on day 14 and egg pick up after. I am extremely nervous this time around considering last time was a big fail. Anyone who may have transitioned from Gonal F to Menopur and Synarel- if you wouldn’t mind sharing your experience- thanks heaps!

Hello .I am 42 and on synarel and menopur . I have only just started so have not much experience at it . This is my first ever round . I am on 375 of menopur .

What is your dose ?

I’m on 300 and I’m on day 10 today. So far so good, first 6 days I experienced bloating and put on a kilo but that’s about it.

That's good .I have only used the spray since Thursday and waiting for period to arrive next week .

Which clinic are you with ?

Hi hun, so sorry to hear about your last cycle. I was initially put on menopur 150 and gonal F 300 which ended up in a biochemical pregnancy at 6 weeks, I was then put on only on gonal F but my eggs didn’t fertilise. They again put me on menopur 150 and gonal F 300 and I got pregnant but miscarried at 8 weeks but my doctor feels that menopur+gonal F is the right treatment forward for me. Another friend of mine got pregnant as soon as menopur added as LH was required. Hopefully, it will be the right one for you. Good luck !
