Waiting for period to start IVF

Hi,

I'm waiting for my period so I can start IVF. I have been doing ovulation tests so I can try and judge when it is likely to start. I have had 10 days of high fertility and no peak fertility. I normally get a peak fertility and I now think maybe stress is delaying it all! I'm trying to work out when I need to have time off as I want to isolate for 10 days before any procedures as I work at a hospital. This is stressing me out more and I've had to try and swap lots of things. I don't want to isolate too late but then I don't want to be at home for no reason!

Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this? If I don't ovulate I presume I just have to wait until a bleed begins before I can start?

My period before my first cycle was late.. not sure why but I ended up having a scan just to check what was going on and from there she could tell me that my period would arrive within a few days - and it did!

If you have a rough idea of when it’s coming, then book your time off around that? You could always have a quiet word with work to let them know your days my change here and there if you’re able to be flexible?
