I am taking Prontogest intramuscular injections and have been applying a heat pad (basically a mini electric blanket) to my lower back and buttocks before and after injecting.
I had my embryo transfer yesterday and have clearly done an awful job of avoiding Dr Google so far (!) but I panicked and thought...should I still be applying heat? Might this affect implantation? Of course I found some sources that said not to use it but my clinic have said it's absolutely fine.
Has anyone else used heat pads for IM injection's after their transfer?
And while I'm here, is it okay to drink fizzy water? I don't drink coffee or any caffeinated drinks but fizzy water with a touch of squash/fruit juice is satisfying my urge for Diet Coke!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Hey hun! Absolutely yes for fizzy water and yes to the heat pad too (although not too long, 2-3 minutes will do!). Also have warm showers and not too hot...other than that, sit back and relax 😃🤞🏻🍀good luck!!!!!!
No advice really, other than if you find you get side effects of bloating from the medication, fizzy water could make that worse and just make you uncomfortable 😇 I just wanted to wish you all the best with your 2ww! 🤞🥰
