Hey guys!

Quick update, I had ny surgery last week after panicking as to whether the increase in the new variant will have my surgery cancelled. Thankfully it went ahead, besides my london hospital being on BBC news every day!! 🙈🙈

Thankfully my amazing endo/ivf surgeon removed my 7.5cm endo cyst which had decreased to 7cm and did a full M.O.T hahaha on ny tubes and there WASNT any hydrosalphinx thank god!!! So no removal of tubes!!

They checked ny womb to ensure I would be ready for a FET in a few months time yaay!!

I'm on day 5 after my surgery and I've never felt more active especially compared to when I had my last laproscopy a few years ago.. it goes to show when u have a surgeon who is bsge accredited and certified they dont mess around to much lol

Now I'm recovering.. and fingers crossed my FET is planned for March.

Does anyone have any great advice, as its going to be my first ever embryo transfer and I feel good about this year... just want to try make sure my body is in great shape. I lost 6kg in the last month from exercising and a clean healthy diet.

I want to aim to loose another 3kg before my transfer. Any good super foods anyone reccomend, I'm thinking to start acupuncture but the can I do acupuncture after my laproscopy surgery?

Thanks for your advice looking forward to hearing some responses x

Hi Jasmeet,

No advice as I'm in a very similar situation but just wanted to say well done you on losing weight & being so focused and fantastic news that you've had your surgery too, all prepared now for IVF.

Wishing you loads of luck xx

Thank you lizzie 😘😘 I did my IVF last year in september but then they decided to freeze all due to the hydrosalphinx they detected in my tubes.. so now I've had my surgery I'm so physed that hopefully the next step in march should be slightly easier for just a FET 🤞🤞 thanks for the love xxx

Amazing! My consultant is really passionate about the research which suggests FETs are more successful than fresh. It's exciting you're so close to starting! Good luck xx
