miscarriage

Hi guys an update on my pregnancy so last night I had a gush of fresh bloods and I called the early pregnancy unit and they called me today for a scan . So as per dates I am 5+4 today however when they did an internal scan they couldn’t see anything at all . No sign of pregnancy they checked my fallopian tubes as other sides to check for unknown location pregnancy but could find anything. I had no cramping at all just blood and here I am . They have taken by bloods and will get back to me . Am numb right now and don’t know what going on as this is my 4th miscarriage. I think I should call it a day and move on with this dead life

hi lovely I’m really sorry that you are going through this, it’s absolutely heartbreaking. I hope you have good support around you to help you recover.

On the practical side, have you done any tests with Tommy’s? I know after 3 MC they can refer you to them , really worth looking into it x

So sorry you are going through this and understandable you feel like giving up. All I can say is that I hope you can take stock in a few days/ weeks time and find a way to move through, however that looks for you. I'd also recommend the charity Miscarriage Association. They were really helpful at signposting me after my miscarriage and helping me think through the options. Right now, though, be kind to yourself and remember you are not alone. Sending love xxx

I have these thoughts regularly. The fact that most people get pregnant just by having intercourse is absolutely wild to me !

I know there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better but I didn’t want to just read your post and click off. I am really sorry for your loss. I know how heartbreaking it is. I hope some additional testing can give you some answers about recurring miscarriages.

Yes I might need to dig into some extra testing . Unfortunately have to go for another egg collection as well
