I always had irregular periods. One month I get my period the other month it does not come. I went to the gynecologue on 27th December. He prescribed me Utovlan to induce my period and Diane-35 once my period starts. It has been 6days since I stopped Utovlan and I have experience cramping but my period has not come yet. I did a pregnancy test, it's negative. My gynecologue is telling me to start the Diane-35 pills though my period has not come. Initially he told me to take Diane-35 on the first day of my period. I am very stressed and confused. It has been more than 60days since I had my period.

Hey lovely. I had a similar thing after I had surgery for a miscarriage, after two months of no period I was put on the pill. I was initially told to wait for a bleed before starting but as this didn’t happen, I just went on it midcycle (I knew there was no chance I could be pregnant) x
I had a withdrawal bleed when I came off the pill and then started meds for an egg collection from there. I have PCOS so my periods are never regular, this is why I ended up having IVF. Are you planning to start fertility treatment when you have a period after the pill?
Oh I see. I can’t help you with that I’m afraid. I don’t think the pill regulates your periods long term, just in the short term by creating mock cycles / bleeds. If you’re wanting to get to the root of the issue if might be helpful to have some tests - check for things like PCOS or issues with thyroid x
