Failed IVF - Irregular periods after?

I had an unsuccessful round of ivf in April. I only got to egg collection and no further. My period arrived 2 weeks after this, so normal enough. However, since then nothing. I was always pretty regular at 27-29 days. I am now at day 45 and honestly don't feel like it is coming anytime soon! I am definitely not pregnant unfortunately. Did anyone else experience this? When did your periods return to normal?

Hey, sorry to hear your cycle wasn't successful. Wish u luck for next time if u do it again . The ivf messed up my period too. It took 3 months for mine to come. Hopefully yours won't be as long x

I'm in the exact same boat as you, I had an egg retrieval back in April, no transfer, bleed 2 weeks later and now nothing. I had some cramps a couple of weeks ago that made me think my period was coming, and now I am checking for it constantly.

Oh my goodness I also had some minor cramps a few weeks ago and was convinced it was coming! Then nothing. Now in constant fear of it suddenly arriving, wearing a sanitary towel everyday just in case! I wish it would just come! 😫

Can take 2 to 3 months for periods to return to normal- or what ever is the norm for you - after taking IVF meds

I had an unsuccessful IVF round last November with transfer. After that failed I had a period and then went 45 days without another one. After that cycles are semi regular and I had spotting after intimacy for a few months after.
