Sorry to hear, I think probably it’s better to cancel this cycle and have a new protocol with higher doses next time. I usually use 450 folistin + 150 menopur that are the highest doses.
On the 2nd cycle I used clomid in addition and it gave me more follicles/eggs. Also doing and estrogen prime before the cycle with ethynil estradiol helped lower my FSH day 3 and synchronize the follicles to grow together. Good luck!
HiThis was out last chance financially 😢. My previous cycle was 450 menopur which was successful and got 2 embryos fertilised from that, unfortunately didn’t implant.
I think maybe I have to accept this is the end of our journey.
In that case If that is your last chance then I would discuss with your doctor if increasing the doses may help.
Why did the decrease the stims this time?
Also vaginal ethinil estradiol helps thicken the endometrium. Worse case if you get embryos and lining is not good you can freeze and transfer later after preparing better the lining
Its ok. They decreased the stims as they said to concentrate in quality rather than quantity so reduced them.
In addition to this they recommend I take DHEA & COQ10, since last cyle which I have been doing along with folic acid Vit D &E
Part of me thinks I should have the same protocol as it did work but add the supplements as suggested for quality.
Im no expert but thats what my gut says 😞.
They have offered to increase my stims to 450 for the next 5 days but part of me thinks I could be wasting money as I have calculated im 3000 units down at this stage compared to my previous cycle.
My head is all over the place now but have to make a decision before this evenings injection.
Thank you. You are right. I actually said that to my partner when we decided to start this second cyle. If we do the best we can this time around and not to think, “what if” then the outcome be it bad or good we can be content with we have tried our best.
Just didn’t expect this curve ball (stupid of me really)
Thank you for tour kind words and support- its much appreciated 🥰
