Hi All, hope you’re hanging in there during this very turbulent time.
I’m due to start my 2nd round of IVF at my next day 1 of my cycle, should start the drugs in early January. I had a chemical pregnancy in October, 2 months after my IVF miscarriage, and at the moment it feels very similar like I have the same symptoms as I did for my chemical pregnancy. Slightly sore breasts but nothing major, really feint menstrual cramps for about 4 days now. I’m due to get my period in a weeks time, I just wondered if anyone knew whether another chemical pregnancy might affect my next round of IVF?
Thanks all and good luck to those going through treatment this Christmas xx

Hi , it’s horrible chemicals, I didn’t really get any symptoms and had 5 chemicals, apart from the positive test , good luck with your next round hopefully this will be your one , I am starting another fet in jan so hopefully for us both next time xxxx
It sounds awful but after the MC and the chemical I just have lost a bit of hope to be honest, and as it’s so similar to how I felt with my chemical (plus my low AMH) I think I just don’t believe it would happen for me naturally. My period isn’t due until the weekend so I’ll know for sure then.
Waiting a month makes sense, I thought someone might say that’s what the clinic is likely to say. Thank you for the positivity, I appreciate it. Hard to have hope right now, it’s been a glum year for everyone but I’ll try and not think the worst x
I had two. I had early nausea and period cramps started really early on ( about 4 weeks)Really strong period of cramps and early positive tests fading before 5 weeks...
With my first one ( natural) I had labour pain week 5 all night and then bleeding the following day. I didn't go to to hospital as I thought it was just the most horrible endometriosis pain I've ever had and the midwives kept on saying my cramps were normal....
With the second one bad period cramps for a week and then woke up one morning and no symptoms at all.nnever bled until I stopped the meds.
