ERA cycle complete. I did my ERA biopsy today on day 6 of progesterone. Keeping our fingers crossed it will give us an answer as to why our little frostie didn't stick last time. My worry is that it is going to come back as my endometrium is non receptive to pregnancy in general. Can that happen? I should have asked the Doctor today but my nerves were so bad I was not even thinking clearly.
ERA cycle: ERA cycle complete. I did my... - Fertility Network UK
ERA cycle
No, you got it wrong. Your test will show whether you are "pre-receptive", "post receptive" or "receptive" so you will know how many days of progesteron You need before transfer. There is no such a thing "non receptive" so don't stress 😉Good luck 🤞♥️
Oh good well that makes me feel much better. I was not sure..... he wants us to go ahead and start our next FET cycle as soon as I bleed so should be starting next week while we are waiting on the results
Hiya, is ERA normally done on day 6 or does it depend on how old the embryo they intend to transfer is? X
I am not sure on that. He did mine day 6 and we found out I was post receptive and only needed 5 days of progesterone. So I assume day 5 or 6 would be fine to so the ERA. I am sooo glad we did it because my second one stuck. All my embryos are day 5 so I am not sure if that has something to do with the timing but I don't think it does. It should just be telling them how much progesterone you need for your endometrium to be receptive to any embryo
what was your result after ERA? Positive?
Congratulations i am glad to hear that. I had 3 FET with my own eggs unsuccessful, i have 2 embroyo left. PGT A. We did.Now 3 embryo left and thinking about ERA
.
So what is the procedure for ERA
I checked online but got confused.
Can you explain me after your period how does it start to transfer embryo
Basically they do an entire cycle as if they would be doing a transfer....on the day they would do transfer, they would do an endometrial biopsy instead. After that you would stop meds and start your period and then they would start you on a new medicarion cycle. By the time you make it to progesterone they should have results back and they just adjust as needed on the amount of progesteron you get. So it delays transfer basically a month.
may i know your result? after ERA? got positive?
