I have my ERA today and (pending the results for the EMMA/ALICE) am keen to roll straight into my DE FET cycle.
Can anyone who has done ERA and FET on an HRT protocol give me some advice as to how you rolled from the ERA to the FET? Did you stop meds to have your period start and then start meds again? Were you on the pill? Just trying to get a sense of timings xx
thanks!!

Hi minnesota_girl. I would think that analysing the sample needs to be done first to decide when the "receptive window" is before doing the DE FET. I think it takes 2-3 weeks for a reply. Obviously speak to your specialist. Good luck! Diane
Your results will take around 10 working days to come back....or mine did. I guess you could do a couple of things. I stayed on progesterone so I could time my bleed for doing transfer, so I bled and started progynova for building my lining. You could also have a bleed, then go on the pill to time your next period. Or just stop progynova, wait for a bleed naturally now and start meds. Just depends on what your clinic and you want to do. Good luck.xx
My clinic wanted me to have a "preparation month" between the endometrial biopsy and the FET. This is both to wait for the results (which may take up to 3-4 weeks) and have time to adapt the protocol (for instance take antibiotics/probiotics if suggested by the ALICE/EMMA test) and to let my body clean up after all the hormones used for the mock cycle.
Hi does anyone know how long the era results are valid for? I had my test done in jan and wont be doing next fet until mid april. Is 3 months the limit before results are invalid?
