TWW already driving me mad! 3dp3dt and period pains

As the title suggests! I’m only 3 days into my TWW and already willing the days to go faster. Too much googling, and starting to go a bit loopy 🤪 On Monday I had two great looking 3 day embryos transferred, was on such a high and feeling so positive. But the feelings of doubt have been starting to creep in. One moment feeling hopeful and the next convinced this hasn’t worked. And to make things more confusing today I’ve started experiencing very similar pains to what I would get just before my period - mainly lower backache, generally bloated and PMS’y, and feeling like my usual pre-period spotting could start any moment, if that makes sense!

Anyone else have this?

I’m fully aware it could be the progesterone messing with me, that evil stuff 😡

Yip it’ll be the progesterone! Awful stuff! You’ll over think everything in the next 2 weeks unfortunately, I think depending on your mood.

I remember one day I’d get period like cramps and think that it was the embryo bedding down so felt great, the next day I would have the same pain but think it was my period coming! Our brains do funny things to us, and that’s without horrible hormones!!

It's driving me crazy too! I have even turned my phone off for a few hours to stop me googling and honestly it made me calmer!!

I'm also having cramps, weird upset tummy feeling and backache and even a cough on the second day?! But I'm just going with the hope that they're all just hormonal and/or the Progesterone! I've found listening to a meditation and watching a good film great distractions. Xx

Was going to ask how you are getting on?! I know what you mean about the Googling! If I didn’t have work to do I’d be on it permanently 🤣 good job I have some distractions. Need to keep busy this weekend I think.

Yep me to re the upset tummy and backache.. horrible. But I think it’s a common side effect of the progesterone, or so I’ve read.

Driving me crazy as well. Currently at day 8 and feel like my period could be here soon. I'm expecting AF the 13th and should test the 15th. Not sure if my cycle would have changed with all the hormones I'm on but I do feel PMSy (having slight period like cramps, headaches and loose bowels)😬. I am on google constantly. I literally just joined this forum yesterday because it popped up while searching for answers. I usually have very tender breast right before my period which is also an early sign of pregnancy but surprisingly my breast are not tender at all. I don't know what to think🤦‍♀️.

Yeh it’s hard to know where we are in our naturally cycles given all the hormones we’ve been under! My body doesn’t feel like my own, it’s been through so much.

Same here re Google.. it’s addictive but I know it’s not healthy ha.

This forum has been such a help to me, definitely recommend!

Hi i'm 5 days in after my transfer and I've had the same terrible pains in lower stomach and back but seems to have subsided yesterday and today, i'm doing my best not to worry about it as I haven't seen any blood and they said it can be quite normal to see blood but can still result in a pregnancy, it is so easy to over analyse everything at the moment but hang on in there x x x

Exactly! I’ve been over analysing every little niggle here and there.. But weirdly today all my symptoms have completely stopped, no more cramps, even boobs feel less sore. So weird! Remaining hopeful but not convinced at all.
