Long story short, I had my EC on 4/11 which became a freeze-all cycle. I then got quite bad OHSS. I’ve had my withdrawal bleed, and I wouldn’t imagine AF would arrive until next week (but who knows!). Ever since OHSS I’ve had a pain in my right side - just inside my hip. And now, for the last three or four days, I’ve just got a dull ache in my pelvis, like a mild period pain.
Just reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced this. Or can offer any insight?
I don’t want to bother my clinic again - I feel like I’m a right pain. They have said to call when my next cycle starts and they will scan me to check everything over.
I think I’m just worried something is wrong, I thought everything would have settled by now.

I had a pain last night was very severe. Was 5 days after EC and had to take panadol. Nurse told me just watch if happened again especially if you feel nauseous . I say u should let your nursing team know .. just in case
Sorry you were in pain. I hope you’re feeling better today. I was in hospital after EC with pretty bad OHSS but I’ve been home nearly four weeks now and this pain is different. I’m trying to wait out for a few days longer before calling the clinic as they’ve had to deal with me a lot over the last month or two.
I had mild ohss after my EC it was so uncomfortable I also got it again after my stim cycle of a FET and also was in a lot of pain was really bloated and felt sharp pains etc all the time it goes away in a week or two x
Oh no, I’m sorry you have had pain, I’m hoping that I won’t get symptoms back when I do my FET next year. I just feel like I’ve got a period pain, but no period... and it usually doesn’t start until I bleed. I just want a scan to know what’s going on down there! Trying to be patient but it’s hard when you’re in pain.
Hey Phoebe345, I had the very same experience after mild OHSS but i felt the pain more after long walks. I told my nurse team and they pretty much said the same thing to wait till scan unless pain gets worse. The pain subsided and had my transfer 8days ago - now in dreaded 2WW. Nothing funny showed up on my baseline scan before transfer. But if you are worried I would contact them again. It’s better to be get their advice. Good luck
I just don’t want to be a pain as they’ve had to deal with me a lot over the last couple of months! I just want the scans over and done with for peace of mind or to know what’s going on down there, but at the moment I’ve had about 4 days of period pain (when I usually only have one) and no period. This whole process is so frustrating!I hope your TWW has a wonderful outcome - xx
