Endometrial investigations

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had any endometrial investigations? We have been given a few different options and one is to take a biopsy.

Ive had an ERA/ALICE/EMMA biopsy and previous had a whole host of tests done with biopsies in Athens to rule out hidden infections etc. Is there anything specific you want help with?xx

It was a bit nippy to be honest but nothing that isn't doable! Painkillers before hand helps. My EMMA & ALICE were clear however we discovered that I required another full 24 hours of progesterone before my endometrium was receptive for implantation (many negative transfers previously, then a loss and a chemical)….once we had our new protocol I got a BFP and am 18wks now.xx

Well its definitely worth considering if you have had a few failures with good quality embryos. Good luck.xx

Hi Anna, I had the same as Cinderella and had the same result. Apparently about 20% of women don’t fall in to the normal time frame so it’s good to know! Xx

Ohh that’s good to know. I’m hoping that’s what they find. Have you had any cycles after where they’ve put the embryo in at a different day? Xxx
