Can I replace Crinone with Cyclogest?

I’m supposed to take crinone twice a day - have run out but have some cyclogest left over from before.

I think 1 x Crinone is 90mg progesterone and 1 x Cyclogest is 400mg.

I’ve had my morning Crinone, so was thinking can I take a 1 x cyclogest at night?

Feel so stupid, thought I had another box.

None of the local pharmacies have it in stock at the moment. I asked one to order it but it didn’t arrive in the delivery today and they’re not 100% sure it will arrive at all.

The hospital pharmacy has some but they won’t accept my gp prescription and I can’t purchase it without a subscription.

Hey hun! I think that if you’ve run out of Crinone you can take Cyclogest but as it has a different absorption (Crinone is much more efficient!) I would go back ASAP on it.

Dosage is different because absorption is.

Have you tried online pharmacies like fertility2u?

I had a look at online pharmacies but they all seem to take a couple of days to dispatch and ask for a prescription (which is still with the pharmacy). I’m hoping 🤞🏽it might still arrive tmrw.

Receptionist at surgery told to me to call at 8am to try and speak to GP and see if he can do anything.

Hospital pharmacy suggested asking the clinic to issue a prescription as a favour (even though I’m discharged), then they can give me the crinone.
