Can anyone give advice on Crinone? TMI warning

Hi ladies, I'm on Crinone gel at the moment, I'm use the applicators. It was fine up until today when I inserted it and had an intense pain in (what felt like) my vaginal wall. I needed to go to the toilet straight away after (I probably should have let it settle I know) and there was a bit of spotting. It felt like I scratched my vagina somehow! I was told you can get a build up which needs to be 'dug out' (pleasant!). Is this normal? Preparing to dig out tomorrow! Lol 😆

Crinone gave me really horrid discharge after a few days of using it! Yuck 🤭 I’ll spare you the details. If it works it’s worth it though 😉 xx

Thanks Dunla yeah I think I did. It really hurts to pee now, I think I poked myself in the wrong hole!! 😯 it was just weird, I wasn't expecting it

Yeah that can be normal, I was told to wash the build up out in the shower which saved digging it out lol good luck x

Hi E_05, im due to start crinone gel soon so am following this post, hope u dont mind. Jus a question re washing the build up out...How soon after inserting are we able to do that without taking away the meds that are required from it? Sorry for gross question. Just trying to prepare myself 🙈 xx

Hey course I don’t, I use to do it every couple of days was told that would be enough. I only took crinone in the evenings so would do it in the morning. It sounds horrible but I found doing it in the shower was a lot less uncomfortable that trying to ‘dig’ it out xx

Sure isn’t, I soon learnt that. The other week in the clinic I was mid scan and they needed me to go toilet. I couldn’t be bothered to get dressed so ran to the toilet opposite with just the paper sheet and the nurse checking it was all clear 😂😂 I’ve definitely been doing this to long 🤦‍♀️

Yeah pretty sure I walked to the bathroom after ET on Sunday with my bum hanging out of the hospital gown. Couldn't be bothered, there was another couple there but thankfully they were behind a curtain!

I'm on crinone gel.i lie down then apply it and thank God I havent had any incident while doing it. About the build up.. Oh yes. Haha i freaked out the first time I saw it but thank God for Google 😄.sometimes when I go to pee it's there. Most times I clean it when taking a shower. Don't freak out when you see it and by the way it can be all sorts of colors. All the best with the cycle.im 10weeks 1day today.

I am on crinone and have black discharge when I wiped myself. Is not much but happens often. I read that crinone build ups and we can have weird discharge.
