Hi all, I’m on round 2 after complete failed fertilisation first time. (What a shitter that was.)
Delighted to say that this time we had 7 eggs retrieved, 5 mature, 4 fertilised and 4 still going today on day 4. They are transferring one tomorrow on day 5.
I am already concerned about my patience during this dreaded 2ww .. any tips for keeping your sanity and getting through to test day? Also with covid restrictions and less to do!
Anyone else having transfer tomorrow?
Lots of love ❤️

I bought myself a big Disney jigsaw to pass the time! It was great and also got an adult colouring in book but that wasn’t so distracting! Gave hubby the test I bought so there was no testing early! Good luck xx
Good luck! I had my transfer yesterday so will be at a similar stage in the TWW. OTD isn’t until 16th Dec. Feels so far away. All the best for tomorrow xx
My test day is the same day as yours as it’s 2 weeks after egg collection for me. So we’ll be in sync. Keep me updated with how you get on and good luck for next 10 days-we got this! 🥳
Congrats on your progress! I am booked in for transfer tomorrow! Having a call first thing but hoping my 3 embryos are going strong 🤞🤞🤞 Good luck to you xxx
Yes I did thank you!! My three embryos are all good quality!
They transferred two better ones today and will wait and see if other one reaches day 5. Just a nervous wait to see what happens now... Fingers and toes crossed? Xx Hope everything is good with you?
Best of luck!! I’ve normally been ok the first few days then I dread the otd as I fear the worst. Remaining positive is the best way, and I watched a lot of Dawson’s creek 🙈😂😂😂
Yeah I’m thinking I could do with a box set or something new to get into. I’m worried I’m going to be too positive and then feel crushed if it’s a negative!!
Tomorrow is my transfer day as well! I would tell you how I’m feeling, but you already know, lol. I plan to not test...I’m going to try my best anyway. Meditation & walking are my lifesavers and I will lean on these practices heavily over the 2ww. Sending positive energy & love your way. It really says something when at the end of 2020-surrounded by so much uncertainty, we have decided to look to the future and believe in tomorrow. Best of luck. ❤️
Amazing! I feel ok about transfer and think I’ll be ok until end of this weekend/early next week...that’s when I’m going to find it really hard! I do a lot of walking too. Love what you’ve said at the end, that’s a wonderful thought. Stay in touch and good luck! ❤️
This whole thing is constant waiting.. wait for 5 days for embryos then 2 weeks for pgd then two weeks if you make it to transfer..Good luck ! Hope is the one 🙏🙏
Why not be supremely positive?! Put all your energy into that and enjoying the 2 weeks. For me disappointment always feels shit regardless of being positive before or not being positive before. Having had 2 total fertilisation failures, getting to a transfer & a 2 week wait will feel like getting to the final of the olympics! Take the time to enjoy your success so far 🙂 wishing you all the best and even more success in the future X
This is wonderful advice, I am feeling great today as can’t believe I’ve made it to this milestone. You’re right, it’s going to feel dreadful either way so may as well enjoy the next 10 days in hope. Hope you’re doing well on your journey, not sure what stage you’re at xxx
Hey, Thanks! I am just prepping for a FET in the next 10-14 days. It’s been a long year and we managed to get one little fella to this stage. Delighted to be at this stagehaving wished to get here all year. I spent so much time despairing that I am trying to enjoy and revel in the excitement that these days are bringing. I’m even starting to repeat all the clichés aimed at me all year. It lessens the anxiety for me and that can only be a good thing. X
Well the wait is nearly over, I really hope that this is the one for you! You’re so right, it’s important to enjoy the point you’re at and celebrate that as otherwise you’ll just be miserable the whole time! Well done on getting to here and all the luck for your transfer and beyond xx
Wishing you all the luck - you certainly deserve it! Best thing to do is keep busy and distracted. Don’t over exert yourself but try to organise your time so there is plenty to do!
