Update on first round

Hiya,

So due to pain I was suffering and hormone levels being a bit high before egg collection it was decided that we'd do a freeze all cycle to let my body recover a bit. Obviously we were a little disappointed initially but I definitely feel it was the right thing to do, the IVF process isn't easy that's for sure!! Amazingly we have 8 embryos in the freezer, 4 were ready to freeze on day 5 of which 3 are top quality, and another 4 got there by day 6. Still can't quite believe it ☺️ here's hoping we get to do an FET in January, bring on 2021.

Wow 8 embryos is AMAZING dear! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳yes definitely the right choice to let your body recover. Also I really believe frozen transfer have higher chances of success! Now time to chill and look after yourself ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks lovely, can't believe it! Fingers crossed we are able to move to phase 2 soon, but it feels great to know we are hopefully in a v.good position 🙏🤞 hope you're doing ok! Xx

Thank you ☺️ sure I was on long protocol, as although I have quite good AMH (about 17) I also have endometriosis around my left ovary which previously led to a left tube removal, so they wanted to try and control this with down reg then stimulation, I was on 0.5ml buserelin initially them 150iu of ovaleap for stimulation xx
