Pregnant but very thin lining- terrified

I am currently 5 weeks 4 days pregnant but I had a very thin lining (less than 7 mm) and we did the frozen transfer anyway. Now I am absolutely terrified I’ll miscarry. I have my first scan on Friday. Does anyone have success stories of live birth/healthy pregnancies when getting pregnant despite thin lining?! Please help. ❤️🌈🙏🏼

Hi lovely. I can’t give advice I am afraid but I do suffer with thin lining and have had transfers at 6mm... I asked my doctor the same concerns and he said that the progesterone will keep that lining plump and where it needs to be. He said he wouldn’t transfer if he felt I couldn’t hold a baby to term xxx Hope that helps

Unfortunately my transfers were unsuccessful but as I am older that may be due to the embryo rather than the lining. I am sure you will be fine and hopefully your first scan will give you peace of mind x

Thank you for your kind words. I’m older too. I used a donor egg. Best of luck to you. Xoxo

Did you have lining issues on other transfers?

No just this one (of course 🙄) prior I was always able to get over 7 mm. It feels like everything is a hurdle.

Hey lovely! Congratulations on your pregnancy 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍are you taking any progesterone shots? I assume so...can you ask your clinic to check your progesterone levels and see if they need adjusting? That will put your mind at ease ❤️Xxx

Yes I take suppositories 3x/day. But I always take those as part of the protocol.

Sorry sent too soon! Thank you by the way. Also, why do you ask that in regards to thin lining? I’m not sure i understand. Thanks so much for replying

Maybe you need an injection...I for example, have 2 injections a day of progesterone (one in the am and one pm) and Crinone gel twice a day on top of that. And I have no lining issues....so maybe you need extra support...worth checking with the clinic x

My lining was only 7.45 mm on day 12 scan prior to transfer, but the nurse said that was good and it was more important to be trilaminar (3 layer) and looking juicy. She also said everyone is different, so I wouldn't worry. Good luck! x
