Hi all

I'm having to insert 3 tablets a day vaginally using an applicator. Today I noticed when taking out the applicator white substances along it could that be the tablet melting? I tend it slowly put up the applicator should I do it faster to stop it from melting?

Hi. I had the exact same so I wouldn’t worry about it. From following conversations on here, vaginal pessaries tend to be messier than inserting rectally. I’m by no means an expert, but thought it was discharge from the previous pessary. You’ll find that when you go to the toilet you’ll see white bits floating but it’s nothing to worry about. Sometimes it can take a couple of flushes for them to go away. After inserting the pessary I lay down for about 15 minutes to absorb it. X

Yes it’s definitely bits of pessary, completely normal 😊 I had this too, it’s nothing to worry about x
