Endometrial scratch

Just had my consultation after the BFN. Dr has said i could do an endometrial scratch and that may help. Has anyone else had this done? Was it successfully and did it hurt?

I’ve had 2 and neither of them cycles were successful, if you haven’t had one it’s something I think is worth trying though. It didn’t really hurt but was slightly uncomfortable at times. Lots of luck x

Sorry for your BFNs. It is nippy and there was recently a big trial published that it doesnt increase the live birth rate so I'm not sure it's even worth a shot!! Link is below.xx

I’ve been told by two separate clinics now that scratches aren’t worthwhile based on more recent studies so I personally wouldn’t have one xx

It’s supposed make a better environment for egg to implant . My first one wasn’t successful my second was . I’ve just had a 3rd scratch for our new fresh cycle . It was suggested 4 years ago as I had endometriosis .I thought it was quite uncomfortable but it soon passes x

I had a scratch 2nd time and had a healthy pregnancy, not saying that it was because of the scratch but suppose made me feel better. It doesn’t hurt just a little uncomfortable for couple of seconds good luck 🤞🏻 xx
