Hi all, my clinic recommended Calcium Ionophores. I looked it up. Sounds like it is to help eggs get fertilised. In my last cycle, I had 10 fertilised eggs. So I thought I wouldn't need such help. Also, HFEA website says Calcium Ionophores could cause abnormal chromosomes, which makes me feel reluctant about it... Does anyone know about it? Many thanks!

I think you would be best discussing this with your clinic - they may have a good reason for recommending it, and it seems sensible to share your concerns with them. xx
We used it on our final successful cycle. It also helps embryos to get to blastocyst stage rather than just helping fertilisation rate. We had a 100% blastocyst rate on our last round using it.
Our fresh transfer from that round gave us our 4 month old daughter. x
