IVF Diet and Massive Anxiety

So I am currently on stims, started yesterday after only going to appointment on Tuesday. This was after first period for 4 months after issues with endo and zoladex. I thought period was never going to come.

I am so not prepared for this IVF but want to give it a go, this is my second and final NHS round. I am now so anxious and panicking.

I do not have a diet plan, not lots of healthy food in, I last drank on Saturday night and I have had some niquitin minis as just stopped nicotine vaping. I have a currently stressful job, though hopefully a little better now home based.

I have got myself in such a state that I have ruined any chances by not doing all the things I should.

Giving up alcohol fine, do not drink much anyway.

Any helpful tips re diet experiences, nicotine, vaping etc. would be massively appreciated?!

Hello. I'm not sure about nicotine or vaping I'm afraid but I'd say try to eat as healthily as possible from now on - e.g cut down on takeaways, eat a mediterranean ish diet and avoid caffeine and sugar if you can. This is what I have been advised... But if you fancy a bit of cake, eat it!! Try not to stress about what you haven't done and take it from here....Enjoy some lovely walks on sunny days and try some stress busting yoga phaps? Best of luck xxx

The most important thing dietwise at this stage is to get plenty of healthy nutrients in to feed your eggs - so eating lots of eggs, whole milk, protein is good, also lots of green vegetables to help your body deal with the extra oestrogen. Wholemeal bread, you may find some extra fibre is helpful. And avocadoes are good! Wishing you luck xx
