So sorry for your loss. I don't know if its any consolation but after one of my surgeries it took me 72 days to get my period... I was told not to worry and it was 'normal' x

Thank you so much for the reassurance. I just want this nightmare to be over! xx

Its so confusing isnt it because you spend your whole life longing for the day your period doesnt show up and you get 2 lines on a test, and then post MC you spend weeks longing for your period and for 1 of the 2 lines to disappear. I hope it all sorts itself out soon. Post the long wait I went back into fairly regular cycles pretty quickly but they were very different from my original ones (different length, different symptoms etc). x

Absolutely - it really is the most cruel journey.
Did your 'normal' periods ever return? I know someone who had asherman's syndrome so now that is freaking me out!
Can if it was surgery for miscarriage and how many weeks you were? I was 9 weeks with twins, so maybe there was just a lot of tissue, I don't know...

Mine is a rather messy story. I had surgery after a blighted ovum MMC a few years back at about 8 weeks. I then had more surgery a few years later for a MMC at about 9 1/2 weeks when we had seen heartbeat at 7 weeks... that was an IVF pregnancy. Unfortunately that surgery failed and I had to go back in and have it again about 6 weeks later... So I've had Surgical management three times and been absolutely fine. So try not to panic. (I've also had 2 other D&Cs for non pregnancy related things so I guess 5 times!??) My cycles just created a new normal which was 28 days (used to be 30) and I always get really sore boobs from ovulation to AF now which I never used to.. but I have managed a natural pregnancy since (which sadly I lost) and a chemical pregnancy with IVF so I am confident everything is working x

That sounds so difficult, I am so sorry. I have also been trying for many years, I guess we just have to keep going. Thank you again for the reassurance, I just got my period today (or what I think is my period) - thank goodness xx
