1st cycle...help!

Hi everyone, I’m new here....have seen a lot of posts similar to mine. I am currently day 11 post transfer, I’ve been spotting for the last 3 days & have mild on & off period cramps. Does this mean it’s failed? Have no idea what to think or how to feel??? Can anyone give me some advice, 2 days until test day! Anxious is an understatement!

Hi, I just put this on someone else's post but hoping it will give you some hope too. I had brown spotting during my first and only ivf cycle which was successful, she's 19 months now. This means it's old blood so nothing to worry about. Sometimes the pessaries can irritate the lining and cause bleeds but you can switch to using them rectally. I had spotting for about 5 weeks after my transfer, including a bit of bright red blood at one point then it stopped. You only need to call the clinic if you get very heavy bright red blood, like a period and even then some people have been fine and gone on to have healthy pregnancies. Hi Tinker,

Stay relax, the point is noone can tell you what is happening. sometimes cramps are sign of implantation and spotting also. The thing is if you are pregnant then stress is not good. So stay calm Xxx

Thank u, yes trying my best to chill out! Think I might take my dogs out for a nice stroll around the woods & unwind x
