Hello, we did our first test today and got a BFP 😁🀞! Our OTD is 24th but I wanted to do one today as it's Mother's Day and it seems to have been worth it πŸ€— . Emotions are all over as its nerve racking now waiting for our first scan etc especially with everything else going on in the world. Wishing everybody else all the luck with their journeys ❀ xx

Cici85β€’ in reply toUnited07

Yea did not get a lot of answers as I got to see the nurse. All I was told was I would be changing to long protocol, I have not read much success stories on that protocol so fingers crossed.

With the virus I don’t think I can start down reg in April .

Congrats again. Xx

United07 profile image
United07β€’ in reply toCici85

Hopefully you'll get the chance when you start the next cycle to speak to your consultant. Every person is different so try not to read too much into the experiences of everyone else on that protocol, focus on you. I believe the HFEA have advised all clinics to wrap up ongoing treatments within the next 3 weeks due to the virus, I can imagine how difficult that is, especially when you want to go again. Look after yourself xx

I'm wishing you all the best yet really sorry to hear you lost one twin at 8 weeks. I also miscarried at 8 weeks and have just had a FET on Tuesday this week so I'm currently in the 2WW. Good luck with the birth X

Thank you so much. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you good luck and pray that everything works out fine this time. I took Duphaston 5mg daily, Progesterone Injection and pessaries and Progynova. I stopped the Duphaston(Steroid), and Progynova at 7 weeks on recommendation and miscarried one baby a week afterwards. I forced her to re-prescribe them and took it till I was over 16 weeks gone. Stopped Duphaston and Progynova then but still on progesterone pessaries 200mg every other day. Am also still taking Pregnacare Max, Baby Aspirin, Selen, iron 100mg magnesium and calcium. Everything has been going smoothly since then. Will be 37 weeks gone in 2 days. My sister-inlaw has suffered 2 miscarriages at 6weeks. Have recommended her to take Duphaston and Progesterone to stay pregnant. Best of luck!
