I was 2 days late, then started spotting and now i'm bleeding heavier. I have felt sickness for around 5 days now. The morning after missed period I did a test and it was negative. I'm still convinced i'm pregnant as i'm feeling so sick, but bleeding now. I have endometriosis and usually come on bang on 27 days. I just don't know what to do with myself right now.

Why dont you test then you will know one way or the other
Hi Claire_dun,
I'm sorry you're going through such a rollercoaster of emotions right now. That sounds really rough 😫
I so so hope you are pregnant and it's maybe a little bleed that will subside?
From personal experience of TTC our first baby for 5 years come January and having endometriosis I have definitely had the odd cycle where my period is delayed and that's down to ovulation being delayed by a few days. Even though my average is 28 days, I do have some cycles where I ovulate slightly later if I've been really run down or stressed or taken a trip etc; longest has been a 32 day cycle. Are you tracking ovulation day with OPK or temping? How long have you been ttc?
Also, just a wee side note I do unfortunately get nausea and A LOT of side effects on the week before my period due to endometriosis such as: sore/veiny boobs, fatigue, cramps, migraine/headache, mood changes etc. It's all down to hormone fluctuations and progesterone which is the dominant hormone in the luteal phase of the cycle.
Hope you're okay xx
Sorry to hear you have been trying so long. This is month 6 for us. I have been tracking ovulation with OPK. I'm really fortunate that my periods are not too painful, I never get nausea with them. I'm just feeling so sick and lethargic today. Thanks for your message x
Thank you. I've gotten so used to it. I don't know if you previously used hormone contraception but I'd say it took a good 9 months - 1 year for my body to settle down after coming off of my pill & my periods got heavier each month. I hope that's not the case for you. Just wanted to give you as much food for thought as I can if you've only been ttc for 6 months.
When did you get your positive ovulation this cycle? If you ovulated 14+ days ago then a HPT should be accurate by now my love.
Good luck to you xx
Yes I had the Mirena coil removed back in March, from which my periods came back immediately (A surprise considering I haven't had periods for around 13 years). My consultant told me to come back and see her after 5/6 months if I have no luck. But the quickest appointment I could get is February next year.
16 days ago I had my peak in my ovulation test. Thanks lovely and good luck to you too. x
