Has anyone had problems with implantation? I have had 3x Day 5 blastocyst of good quality transferred, 1 was Fresh Transfer and the other 2 were Frozen Transfers, none of which implanted and each time I got a BFN. I’m 30 years Old and Husband is 32 Years old. We’ve never seen a positive pregnancy test over the 2 years we tried naturally and the 3 transfers we’ve had so far. Can anyone please share any stories that may give me hope? Anyone had multiple BFN and eventually got their BFP?

Never had a BFP. Anyone else had problems with Implantation?
Yes me. 2 fresh and 2 frozen. Last one took and I now have a very nearly 2 year old daughter.
We did spend a lot of money in London with an immune specialist after the 3rd bfn. A lot of money. Probably a good £15k!!
I had intralipds and then IVIG until I was 33 weeks pregnant.
Sorry to hear about all of your BFN's, its incredibility frustrating and exhausting. I have had lots of BFN's, one spontaneous early loss at 6wks, one chemical and now we have a BFP with twins and almost 10wks. That is out of 9 transfers using 16 embryos so its been a long road!! We discovered after transferring really good quality embryos that my implantation window is different than "normal" ladies. We had a test done called an ERA and this is a biopsy which allows the lab to work it how many hours/days you need to be on progesterone in order for your womb to be receptive. Most ladies require 5days (120hrs) of progesterone and I need 6 days (144hrs). I must stress this is highly uncommon and it may not be your issue but it might be worth discussing with your clinic to see if they feel it may be useful for you! Also its worth checking when you are transferring that your levels of progesterone are high enough too.xxx
congratulations on your twins! Thank you for replying, this is indeed a very difficult journey. I just hope this all works out! I had progesterone checked, and it was normal. I think the ERA test is something I should definitely do. I think it’s a case of checking as many different tests as possible to narrow down the cause
I’ve had four unsuccessful transfers with 6 great looking untested embryos.
Did thrombophilia panel to see if there are blood clotting issues, karotyping, ERA test and also we did a whole new cycle and had our embryos genetically tested for complete peace of mind. So yeah, lots of work! ERA test came back me needing a whole extra day of progesterone (like Cinderella). Oh and I also had a sonogram and an MRI to see if there’s anything in the cavity - scarring, polyps etc.
It’s hard work looking for answers but one thing I did learn is that you need to change things up for every transfer, try new things - intralipids, blood thinners, steroids, HCG wash etc. There are many options.
Wishing you the best of luck xxx
Hi PositiveVibes I’m on my 6th cycle. All great quality embryos and all implantation failure. This time I had an endometrial scratch before hand and am
On double progesterone. Today is day 8 after 5DT. Keeping everything crossed!
Let’s hope we both get a BFP soon x
I am sure it won't take you this long but I have one friend who got her BFP on her 9th transfer, and another friend who got BFPs on her 7th and then her 8th 2 years later! Don't give up - it could literally just be bad luck x
Have you had your thyroid checked? That causes problems with implantation and egg quality.. I had my follow up after failed cycle, she recommended I had thyroid checked... It came back borderline. So I'm now on thyroxine x
The doctor has recommended I do the thyroid Test before my next cycle. We are planning to do that this month. Has your egg quality been affected by your thyroid? What makes your doctor think it is your egg quality that’s causing your ivf to fail?
We believe so yes... My TSH was 4.45 after our follow up... Its supposed to be under 2 for conceiving. It play a big part in egg implantation and quality. My egg quality on first fresh round was better, had 5bb embryos. This time round it was 4cc. My amh has also dropped quite a bit in the space of a year from 19 to 11, consultant put it down to quality. I'm now on thyroxine and taking ubiquinol xx
