I'm nearly at the end of my 2ww and not feeling positive. We get 2 free cycles on the NHS. If when I test it's negative is that one cycle? I've got 3 frozen too, would having one of them be the other cycle? And if I wanted to do it again would have to go private?
Also, is the frozen process much different to fresh?

We couldn't get any funding on the NHS in our area, but as far as I know they count a cycle as egg collection, so I don't think a frozen cycle counts as a new cycle. I do think there might be a maximum number of frozen transfers they'll do as part of your cycle thouhg.
We got 1 cycle with the nhs where we ended up with 2 embryos. We had to freeze both of ours, 1st embryo wasn’t successful and the 2nd embryo is still on the nhs. I asked this question when we were told we had to go through nhs and the doctor said you get one cycle in our area but it depends on how many embryos you get. I think the most expensive part of a cycle is the egg collection
That's great to hear, thanks. Just found during my appointments didn't want to waste their time with loads of questions then at the end of the TWW now need lots of answers!
Hi lovely, with our local NHS clinic we had 1 fresh cycle then froze 4 embryos. We then had an FET a few months later and that whole lot counted as 1 cycle.
We then had a 2nd FET in the summer which counted as our 2nd cycle.
We have 1 embryo left which will count as our 3rd and final cycle (luckily we got 3).
