Hi Iv had my first scan tonight

she thinks I might be slightly earlier as can see a sack and yolk. But nothing else yet is not worried and said come back in 10 days.

She said everything so far looks good and normal

She said I can’t see why you are bleeding she could see a small subhaemorrhage but nothing too much to worry about and said could be why.

Since Iv come back from the trans vaginal scan Iv started to bleed fairly heavy before was very light.

It’s odd when they removed the prob no blood on it but now I’m bleed red blood. It this normal after this scan. Any advise

Thanks xx

Hi how far along are you? It’s not normal after the scan but could be the clot bleeding out. Did they advise you to contact them if the bleeding got heavier and red? My clinic did so it might be worth giving them a call. My first scan at 5+6 it was just sac and Fetal pole but the following week there was a heartbeat (along with the subchorionic hemorage) so 10 days can make all the difference xx

Hi I text last night the doctor as she gave me her me her mobile number which was nice she is an early pregnancy doctor too so a specialist.

I’m so glad Iv found her as my clinic in Spain and I feel very alone with no doctor here my GP doesn’t have a clue about ivf.

She said can be normal to bleed and rest up. Bleeding slowed down through the night phew so scary bleeding that much. I must be really sensitive

I’m just gonna take it easy today

Thanks x

She also said which was interesting not sure why I didn’t think this. So your transfer was on the 16th of September and you adding 5 days back for the bio but she said sarah it doesn’t mean the embryo implanted on the 16th could have been days later so you could be 4 weeks not 5.5 weeks

So makes sense why they can’t see too much but happy what she can see

On all these apps it makes u further along than u are but they dont know what day the embryo implanted.

X

I had my scan yesterday (5 weeks 3 days) and they also only saw the gestational sac and yolk. The doctor was very happy with it and I’m going back in a week to check for the heartbeat. If you transferred on the 16th, you’re only one day ahead of me so it all sounds normal what they saw on the scan. Why are you worried? Were you hoping to see more?
