Bleeding at 5 weeks ?

I am 5 weeks pregnant 🎉

I have had some bleeding for the past week with small clots. The bleeding wasn’t too heavy and it’s on and off ! It would be bright red then after couple of hours it turns brown then stops! While I was bleeding I have had my HCG levels checked ( which were higher then normal ) and 2 scans and everything seems to be fine for 5 weeks.

Yesterday I had a slight heavier bleeding and I passed a bigger clot ! It was quite big after that the bleeding slowed down ( to brown ) and now it’s completely gone !

What is happening ?????

I have had so much advise from the ladies on this forum but I am still worried 😟

Will I and the baby be okay ?

If I was misscarrying wouldn’t the bleeding carry on ?

I am also not in any pain!

Help please ?

Did any of your scans showed SCH (blood)?

No couldn’t see any reasons xx

Hi M. Oh dear that must have been so scary! This can happen in early pregnancy, and often a reason can't be found. occasionally it can come from the chorionic villi as it changes into the placenta. Not long until your first scan, so hopefully that will reassure you. Have a rest when you can and I shall be thinking of you. Diane
