Chicory coffee during TWW

I had my embryo transfer last saturday i am 6 days post transfer. I however was drinking a coffee alternative thAt has chicory (23%). I had 3 cups on Tuesday and Wednesday and one today before i realised that chicory is not recommended as it might induce menstruation and cause miscarriage. I am actually freaking out now. I hope i didnt ruined everything while trying to improve my chances! I do have the weird feeling rhat my AF is coming as well

Ummm, I drank megatons of Whole Earth No Caf which contains some chicory during my last cycle and I got pregnant! I did miscarry at 8 weeks but that was to do with a chromosome problem with the embryo, absolutely nothing to do with chicory at all. So I wouldn't worry too much about it xx

Thank you so much for replying! I really appreciate it as i start bleeding today but its bright pink for now and not so much! I am so sorry for your loss and for having to go through this! Inhope it all works out for you!

You too, but whatever happens do rest assured that drinking a bit of chicory coffee substitute is not harmful. I've just been reading up on it a bit and you'd have to consume a TON of the stuff for it to be a problem xx
