I supposed to start ifv before the lockdown started, first the clinic didn't find my details then lockdown started on March. I received a letter finally saying it will start this month. I already did the blood test and scan , my boyfriend it's supposed to do this Friday his test. Last week a colleague tested positive for covid, the only day they worked together his colleague it was infected. I'm devastated, I rang to the clinic to reschedule the appointment for October. My worry is if we have a second lockdown, everything it will be delayed again... I don't have anyone to share this so I appreciate your support, thanks

So sorry to hear you may be facing delays again. As we all know ivf is a big waiting game and then to throw covid in to the mix...well it can get very frustrating for us! Hopefully just a minor setback this time and youll be back on track next month. Hope the time doesnt drag for you! Treat yourself to a little glass of wine or something you wouldnt normally have if you were starting this month. Wishing you lots of luck xx
When I rang to the clinic to reschedule they said we need to do another test later and need to be negative but I read that if the person who has recovered from COVID-19 is retested within 3 months of initial infection, they may continue to have a positive test result, even though they are not spreading... hopefully the next test we will do it will be negative 🤞. Thank you for your positive words and good luck on your journey xx
