Hey ladies I just wanted to check if anyone has experienced dull pain even after a month after a failed embryo transfer. Its like ever since thet tampered with me im not the same... will this go away its causing me concern i went to my local gynae and was given meds. Scan shown nothing is wrong. He believes i may have adhesions as i do have a blocked fallopioan tube. My ivf specialist once did suggest a laporoscopy.
Any advice

I remember having a lot of tenderness and feeling uncomfortable for a month after egg collection. However the egg collection was not completely straight forward... more pushing, prodding & flushing than expected! I didn’t get any embryos to transfer. I think I was quite sore in the ovary area when I got my next period a month later too. Not sure if that helps. x x
I had a similar situation - egg collection + fresh embryo transfer and ended in chemical. After that for few months (around 2-3) I felt twinges and pain in my ovaries. I thought that I might have a cyst so when we had our follow up consultation I asked for my ovaries to be checked. Just like you nothing wrong was there, they looked perfectly normal. All the pain after that went away. Probably is taking awhile until our body is back to normal again 😊
I had tubes checked after 2nd biochemical loss and all looked normal.
Was it a fresh cycle? My ovaries were definitely a bit sore/swollen for a couple of months after mine, and I'm generally very healthy and sound in that region x
