What would you do?

I’m booked for embryo transfer Tuesday 22 and have to go to the hospital for a Covid 19 swab Sunday... I’ve been working (at a clean cold hospital) and stayed away from most indoor places wearing my mask and washing/gelling my hands... I had planned on taking my son to a softplay date Friday - tomorrow... I’m kind of thinking I should stay away for my own safety and to give my frostie the best possible chance... help!

If it was me, I would probably stay away, but I'm paranoid! See what less anxious people think x

I'd put the playdate off. If you tested positive they wouldn't let you come in for transfer, would they? Seems like needlessly exposing yourself, risking messing around your transfer. Good luck xxx

To be honest - and I’m not overly cautious about coronavirus - I think softplay is one of the higher risks and I wouldn’t do it.

Soft plays are one of the places not even open yet where I am because of the risks Just so you have some scale of the potential risk to make your decision 🤗 xx

I think you need to decide what is more important - ivf or the play date - that will decide it for you! x

I am a manager at a soft play centre and I had to have the the 2 and a half weeks doing the ivf off work as I was in and out of the clinic. I’ve now gone back to work as I’m in the 2ww. We personally haven’t been busy but I wouldn’t risk it. Maybe rearrange for after the transfer.

I would stay away. If you did pick it up it won’t show up on your swab on Sunday but doesn’t mean you haven’t got it. I’d give myself the best chance possible and keep myself to myself. Good luck !

Stay away lovely. I wouldnt risk your transfer being canceled xx
