I was uncomfortable for around 3-4 days... i think everyone is very different. Rest up but try and walk and keep a bit active! I found lots of water and daily walks helped me. Good luck on your journey xx

Hi ya. I also had EC on Friday. No one warns you that u r going to feel like someone has played football with ur ovaries. Am better today than yesterday I found a hot water, paracetamol and lots of fluid helped! Also try not to laugh as that was agony 🙈

Everything crossed for day 3 update tomorrow x

Hi leah hopefully you will feel fine soon, to me it took 3 days but the same evening of ehh collection we had visitors comming and I spent standing in kitchen cooking although I was bit sore but sharp after 3 days I was fine, it stays bit tender as can’t do very strenuous acts , if you are feeling v sore you should tell your doctor 👨‍⚕️xx

It also depends if you produced too many eggs as I had 14 mature eggs, 8 fertilised and eventually got 5 blasts, probably your eggs must be in process of becoming blasts, good luck 😍

Hi, it took me at least ten days to feel better. Thought I was better after 4 days but then it got bad again because I didn't rest.

I mentioned it to the nurse the day after egg collection I felt fine . I felt quite sick the day before egg collection she said my ovaries were rather big according to my scan and to rest even though I felt ok, But then I changed the bedding ! today my 3 year old hurt himself and with out thinking picked him up . Just have to be more careful tomorrow I will rest x

Lots of water, walks do help if you have already started pessaries. Most importantly, relax your body. The discomfort will slowly ease off. Keep your clinic updated about your symptoms.

It takes a while to recover...my 2nd egg collection felt like period pain...and my 1st I remember was initially fine. As the empty follicles started to fill up you can feel extremely bloated and uncomfortable it affected my breathing and I was violently sick 5 days after on egg collection day ..look out for OHSS...if in doubt seek help. Recovery after 2nd egg collection wasn't bad at all just soreness and bloating as I had increased water and fluid intake to 3litres a day and kept active. This is definitely the key. Good luck...xx

I was told not to take it easy and not do any heavy lifting for 2 days but I was just super cautious and went back to normal after 5 days. Drink lots of water. I didn't realise that one time and my stomach felt really sore a week after. I got worried and ended up going for a scan just to make sure everything was ok. All I needed to have done was drink lots of water.
