I had my egg collection on Monday which went smoothly and they retrieved four eggs. Unfortunately they wanted to get at least six so they are going to put me through stimulation again before I progress any further.
I felt really bloated yesterday but drinking lots really helped. Last night after dinner I got an awful headache including pain behind my eyes and in my nose (like sinusitis). I went to bed super early but woke up with it still there this morning. Paracetamol has helped but it is still really painful. I also feel a bit sensitive to light. Do you think it is following a drop in hormones?
Any advice gratefully received. Thank you! xx

It is most likely hormone related yes. You’re drinking plenty so it shouldn’t be dehydration. I’ve been having a few more headaches recently and taking paracetamol doesn’t completely get rid of them but it does help to put heat on my head. Sounds daft but I use a hot water bottle balanced on my head. Hope you’re feeling better soon xx
Hi Kat. Sounds like your pituitary gland is feeling a bit upset! Nothing to worry about, but apart from paracetamol, do make sure you drink plenty of water and keep warm, in case your ovaries are still a bit active. Rest when you can, but have a little walk around in between. Keep an eye on your urine output - nice and clear. Get better soon. Diane
Thanks so much for your advice Diane. My headache lasted about two days but got much better after that. Definitely sounds like it was my pituitary gland. Could I ask another question? How long will it take for my AF to arrive? I’m now 9 days post egg collection and still no sign of it? Thank you.
