Round two, Prostap 11 days ago, still no period 😩

Hi,

It would great to hear some other people’s thoughts or similar experiences. I’m waiting on my period to come so I can start my menopur injections. In my first round my period came 5 days after the injection but I’m still waiting 11 days in. I have been struggling to sleep, my back is aching and I’m being such a moody 🤬 😩 depressive thoughts are coming too. It feels like my period is coming but it’s being stubborn.

Im also a little worried because my consultant hasn’t changed my protocol after a failed FET double transfer last month. So I’m thinking that could also be why my period is later. He said there was no issue with starting again as my body will have recovered from the first treatment which I started in March. I have been wondering how I can expect to have more eggs collected if my protocol stays the same. In my first round I had 8 eggs collected, with only two reaching Blastocysts, which were both transferred. I got my period at the end of the 2ww. 😣

Trying to be relaxed this time but the side effects from the prostap and the wait for my period are making me anxious.
