We are hopefully all set for transfer next Friday. I was just wondering are you up and about on the day of transfer and the next day? Or do you have a lazy couple of days? I’ve heard of people getting transfer and flying home the next day but after my last transfer I was waddling a bit like a penguin and felt a bit heavy.
What has everyone else been doing?

I've had my transfer on Thursday and have been taking it easy since. I felt fine, been for little walks. Will chave a relaxing weekend and then back at work for Monday.Fingers crossed for your transfer 🤞
Thank you for your reply. Good luck to you too. I was thinking the same a few days just taking it easy then back to normality. I’m quite often quite bloated and heavy feeling after transfer do u get that too? Xxx
I don't get the heavy feeling but do sometimes feel bloated (which is more likely a bit of constipation 🤦🏼♀️I think ) - I go for gentle walks daily and eat prunes, apricots and prune juice and drink plenty of water which really helps the bloated feeling... Xx
I took it easy on the day of transfer but then was back in work the next day. But I find keeping busy a helpful distraction from the 2ww crazies! But I think it’s just whatever you think works best for you. Best of luck lovely xxx
I tried to take it easy for a day or two, but more because I thought it was a good idea than because I felt like physically I needed it. But anyway I have a toddler at home (from IVF three years ago) so it’s pretty hard to relax for too long…. the advice I always got was to carry on as normal, just don’t do anything too strenuous. Good luck!! x
My transfer was on a Saturday, so I did not do an awful lot. But my doctor asked me if I am walking back home (I live about 3km away from my clinic). He said a walk would get my blood moving and that it would be good for me. Good luck next Friday.
