BFN ON 9dp5dt.... and gone onto a positive

I have had a 5AA BLASTOCYST 9 days ago.. I tested early and got a negative.. I was gutted as my OTD is in 5 days but I am totally devastated. Need a little hope in my life! But I know deep down I am out!

Day 9 is still pretty early lovely. Dont beat yourself up, you're not out yet 💗

I didnt test until day 10 and it was soooooo faint. Try again after 48 hours if you cant wait until OTD and test with first morning urine. Wishing you the best of luck xxx

I had cramping all thru my 2ww, it's really normal and usually a good sign. Try not to compare to others, theres so many variables...how long implantation took, strength of urine, type and strength of tests strips. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 xx

I have read so much but feel this cycle has failed.. the test didn’t even have a line. My boobs are not painful anymore. I did another test tonight and nothing. Was your a FET xxx

It's difficult when you feel like that, but please try to be positive 💗 My boobs stopped being tender pretty early too. First morning urine will contain the most hcg so always best to test then, evening tests this early will just disappoint you. Mine was fresh as I only got 4 eggs and only 1 fertilised so no frozzies for us.xx

Thankyou so much reaching out to me. I have been on ivf Facebook groups and there are no women who have had experience of this and was lost when I took the tests. Morning and night... tests just confirmed no hcg. I just wish I had the faith.. just feel so lost xxxxx

Hi 👋

I had the same quality embryo as you transferred and I didn’t test until day 12 just because I wanted to make sure I had an accurate result. I would wait as long as you can as testing to early might not always show a positive result. Keep positive. It’s still early days. Also it depends what test you use as well as some are more sensitive than others xxxx ❤️

I know.. I just thought I’d have some sort of line.. I have period pain cramps now. I have read some clinics test day 9 or 10 and some upto 14. It’s all confusing xxxxxxxxxx

Hi dear, you are not alone! It is so bad when you get a BFN. I had mine on day 7 and 8 (today) post 6dt and both were negative. I lost all interest in this cycle but still taking meds, i am already looking up and booking my next cycle tbh with a different clinic.

I will probably test on OTD (Sun) and on day 14 then stop meds. I have sore breasts and on and off dull ache in my belly but the negative tests have put me off entirely.

I think this is too early to test.... do your best to leave it until OTD for your most accurate result, it’s hard to do and I am in my 2ww So I know it’s not easy but there is a chance it could be a ve4y different outcome xx

Even on the day I was due to test my line was soooo faint I could barely see it!! It didn’t get darker until 2 days after that. You’ve still got time! X

I just have no faith... I have 5 nat pregnancies and my boobs were untouchable... but this time my boobs are not sore... I just feel gutted xx

That’s still so early! I tested 3 days before & got a negative then a positive on the actual day. Stay positive & hopefully all will be well. X

Mine was a fast response so presumed. It would pick it up. My boobs have gone back to normal but had cramps a night. I just pray for a miracle xxx

My friend tested early and got a negative. I told her to keep on the meds and she did and tested when they said and it was positive and she’s now 10 weeks. It’s not good to test early. I hope you get a better result on the day they have said test.

I felt the same in both my failed cycles. Sometimes i think you just know. Women trying to conceive spend alot of time understanding the nuances of their bodies for timings etc. Its so tough the 2ww it has sent me nigh on insane both times yet my need for a child seems greater than my need for sanity 😜

I wish you lots of strength and courage whatever the outcome. We are after all warriors.

Hi, Scarymc when you are testing early it all depends on the brand and sensitivity of the test. Some will say they got their BFP late because they were using less sensitive tests. The ones that usually get early results use First Response Early Response. I wish you all the best, this journey is so difficult but you may still get your BFP this round. Xx

Oh I’m sorry ❤️ I hate that feeling of staring at that stark white when you just want it so badly to turn pink. As everyone says you’re not out until OTD but I test early so I can prepare myself mentally for the result. Take care and I really hope the results turn around for you xx

Hi! Just came across to post today. Just wanted to send you some love and virtual hugs today.

My clinic asks you to test on 9dp5dt and if neg again on 11days. We are on our 5th fresh ivf and unfortunately got a stark white negative on Monday. Feeling defeated and that just didn’t work for some unknown reason. Will test again tomorrow but completely feel we are out this round. Luckily we have one frostie so fingers crossed for that one as it will be our last go.

Just wanted to send you a message of care and compassion for your OTD. This whole process can be so isolating and I hope it helps in some way to know you are not alone.

Thanks for your message. Definitely agree the testing is the worst part. I can never sleep the night before and unfortunately with our experience we’ve only had one BFP but this unfortunately miscarried at just shy of 6 weeks.
