Anyone else have to get a cervical stitch prior to a frozen transfer?

I was told I need a cervical stitch to better place the embryo during transfer. This will be our third transfer, all frozen.

I’ve heard of a cervical stitch being placed sometime after about 12 weeks if you have a weakened cervix but not at the point of transfer. I’m not sure how this would help at the point of transfer and if it fails to implant, the stitch would have to come out? Or did they mean to dilate the cervix? My first transfer was really difficult and they spoke about dilating my cervix for next time. I’m not sure how they planned to do this. I switched clinics and had a smooth transfer the second time xx
