So I finally got my results back after having my HCG test on 12dp5dt, and it is positive, but only 76.
Does this mean I am having a chemical? Has anyone gotten this low a number and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? I am going to get another test now.
Thanks xo

Congratulations 🥳 I can't help ie beta numbers as I only did none tests but hopefully you've just had later implantation. 76 doesn't sound that low to me ( obviously I'm no expert) My consultant told me ( when I had my last miscarriage) the HCG number wasn't important as every women's HCG will vary massively but what mattered the most was that number doubled within 48 hours. I'm guessing they will do another blood test? I've heard of many ladies have low HCG but did have a successful pregnancy one lady even had twins! Wishing you the best Xx
Congratulations LuxFleur. Have a look at Chelsea289 posts. She’s pregnant now 24 weeks like me and I remember she had a low beta test at around the same time but it was absolutely fine- numbers went up and all was well. I think the numbers vary lots.
My beta on 12DP5DT was 89 so we are in similar situations. We first test here at 9DPT and my level then was only 24, so I have been stressing all week. Have you spoken to your clinic yet? Mine just said to go in for another beta one week after the last one on 19DPT and if the numbers are good then an ultrasound will be next. So so stressful!
Thanks for responding. Yes, they said to test today and then again in two days on Wednesday, and to use the same lab. It really is so stressful! I hope it goes well for you!!!!
Have faith! Mine were 34 on 9dp5dt , 61 on 11dp5dt and then 385 on 15dp5dt and I’m now almost 10 weeks pregnant and have seen baby’s heartbeat twice.
Being told my levels were low was the most miserable feeling after getting my first ever BFP. I cried a lot and tried to keep myself distracted and off Google. As long as it’s near doubling you will be fine. Crossing everything for you xx
i’m trying to push till the end amidst the different stages of worry and chaos..but hey!!! your HCG is going up that is wonderful news, i’m super happy for you i always come back with my fingers crossed to read some good news from you❣️❣️
