Confused.. AMH gone up after infection in ovary?

Hi guys, so I've just had my AMH retested as I got a very bad infection on my ovary last month after my hysteroscopy. My AMH last August was 12 and they called me today to say it's now 21. Is this better or too high now? I'm so confused as was expecting it to be very low and below 12 after my infection. Dr just said normal as they say with everything lol♥️💫

Hi I don’t know much about AMH ...but anything under 10 is low so yours is not in low range.

5 years ago when we went through first cycle my AMH was 15.7 . Year after we had cycle nr 2 and had my baby girl .

November 2018 I done my AMH and drop to 5.7 so we done another fresh cycle and after that another two frozen cycles.

2 months ago I retested AMH and to my surprise come up to 6.7 ( I’m gonna be 40 this November) .

Thanks so much for your reply 🤗 Yeah I'm just so shocked! I've been dreading my results thinking it's gone down so much as my infection on my ovary was bad. Crazy how it can go up and down so much. Yours is great for 40! ♥️

I was scared to retested now ...going through 3 cycles age 39 ...I really thought my AMH will be low low low ...and things change. Xx

This happened to me! Had it done 2 years ago and it was 10 and recently it’s 21? Mental but not complaining! X

So confused.. the only thing I can think of is that fact that I've changed my diet over the last year. I just thought after my infection it would be lower not higher x

This is brilliant news 😃 just go with it ❤️ xxxx doctors always tell you everything is good unless it’s some sort of concern so looks like everything is all good 😃
