Hi Twobaby,

I'm sorry you're really struggling with the marks from surgery. If I'm honest I really struggled emotionally after my surgery and the anaesthesia. I felt more emotional, weepy, definitely like my body had been tainted in some way. I don't know how long you are post op but if it helps at all those feelings faded within a few months.

I actually didn't use anything on my incisions at all and my scars have faded with time. They'll never disappear completely but have gone a lighter shade of deep pink now compared to the purple colour they were before. I do know, however that Arnica gel can be good for scar discolouration from an injury years ago.

Feel better soon xx

I had a twisted stitch and was left with a pit of scar tissue about 15mm across, almost two years later and its pretty much faded.

Without mentioning specific brands you can try purcellin oil, good for scars and stretch marks xx

I used kelo-cote which did help. I’ve had a bit of keloid scarring which has settled. Don’t worry, be proud, they represent what we have been through xx
