Hi girls! I'm new to the group! I am so amazed how supportive everyone is in here <3...
A bit about my story... I have a 4 year old boy already, fell pregnant almost straight away with no issues at all through pregnancy. Last year we decided to try for a second baby and this is when our real adventure begun. First try resulted in a chemical pregnancy and then the second time baby died at 7 weeks. NHS tests showed no problem and consultant reassured me it was just bad luck. Thank God i v done my research and did the infection screening in period blood and diagnosed with endomitritis which is an infection in uterus. Now I need to do hysteroscopy cause there is high chance I have dead tissue . Its getting a bit scary to be honest... Has anybody have similar experience?

The way you call it “Dead tissue” does sound scary. But endometriosis is quite common (I think there’s a whole forum for people who are suffering if you could find it?).
I had a hysteroscopy in February and they removed some tissue. It’s all about preparing you to be in the best position to conceive.
Don’t be scared. Sounds like your doctors could do more to explain things for you. Good luck x
Hey, I had a similar experience however mine was diagnosed in the opposite way. I had a hysteroscopy which showed thick white tissue in my endometrium (which they called dear/scar tissue) this was cut away at my hysteroscopy and biopsies taken to look for infection as I had mine done under GA. The consultant afterwards said the white tissue was likely endometritis but no current infection was found as biopsies were all clear. I was a little crampy afterwards but nothing bad....I even have a video as a souvineer. Lol Good luck.xx
Dont panic! Ive had about five hysteroscopies! they really are fine, like Cinderella says you can be a bit crampy the next day but generally they are fine. I always think the tablets they give you to dilate your cervix are the worst part but I've been told thats worse if you havent had children and you often don't need them if you have previously had a child. Good luck x
