Hysteroscopy

So I have a hysteroscopy booked for next Wednesday following a cancelled ivf cycle due to a cyst on my left ovary and four periods where I’ve bled for up to 21 days. I also feel a lot of pressure on my ovary and a burning sensation.

I have just applied for a new job at another school and think a new place and a new start would be good. Just feeling so sad and angry today. Going through pregnancy and getting to almost twenty five weeks, giving birth and losing my baby ages 23 days has really hit me.

Trying to focus on myself and have 2.5 stone of 3.5 weight gain to lose.

Hi Hopeandhell. Let us know how your hysteroscopy goes. I have one on the 7th January to remove a suspected polyp, and I am itching to get back on the IVF train. Sounds like you've had a really rough journey. Well done on applying for a new job, and a fresh start sounds positive.

Hi Hopeandhell. Just wanted to say I am thinking of you and all the best for next Wednesday. Good that you are focusing on you, it's the only way, as I truly know, having had a similar experience a long time ago. Diane

Thank you Diane. I think I needed the time to grieve and heal. I’m not 100% fully healed and never expect to be. But, the cracks are where the love and light seeps in. X

Do you feel the polyp? I just feel a massive amount of pressure in my ovary and it’s like my tummy is pressing down on something

I don't think I can feel my polyp (if this question is for me); thankfully. Sorry to hear you can feel your cyst! I hear cysts can be quite bad. I have one that I get pain from sometimes, but they said it isn't in the way of my fertility so they're leaving it.
