I have been confirmed pregnant this week, I have been suffering really bad bloating and cramping and have put it down to the progesterone pessaries and just pregnancy in general, last night I was in agony and took myself to A&E in the night as it was horrible I just couldn’t sleep or get comfortable.
After having scans done today it has been confirmed I have moderate OHSS. I have a mass of fluid built up under my boob area and my stomach. I can’t help but worry that bambino will be effected.
Has anyone else had OHSS in pregnancy?

I did .. it was absolutely awful! I was hospitalised 3 times with the excruciating pain. My ovaries were 4x their normal size, i had burst cysts (I have PCO’s) and free fluid. I was given anti sickness injections to stop me from being sick with the pain, codeine and paracetamol IV’s to help with the pain. Also prescribed clexane injections. I was so worried about the effect these medications would have on my baby. I was only about between 8DPT and 20DPT at the time so super early.
I’m now 20 weeks pregnant. After those first few weeks i felt so much better. I just rested.
So far my scans have all been perfect, baby looks great. I feel much better.
I know its horrible to go through for you, but rest assured there should be no affect on the baby xxx
Hey I had ohss before I found out I was pregnant. Are they draining the fluid?? Luckily when I went A&E I didn’t have fluid I was just dehydrated and being sick so I ended up with iv. Baby will be fine just rest and drink loads of water flush it out and just rest have naps. Even when I went to my 12 week scan she said I still had big sacs but nothing to worry about, they will check this at every scan 💖💖💖
