Cycle 4 cancelled - ovarian cyst found 😭

Well baseline scan today found a 24mm cyst. And just like that cycle cancelled.

Anything ever comes easy in this journey. Now im afraid this cyst wont go away.

Anyone had anything similar?

I haven’t had an ovarian cyst but just wanted to send you a virtual hug. That is gutting.

Are they going to monitor and hopefully it’ll go and then you can start again?

I know it’s common to get cysts from the drugs.

I had cysts grow from the drugs but on my breast. I went away on it’s on in a couple of weeks xx

They just cancelled my cycle, said cysts are common and we try again next month. Nothing ever comes easy. Immgutted as i have been waiting since last december to start 😭

This happened to me 3 times... I know it’s hard but it really is for the best to delay. In one of my cycles where I had a cyst we chose to continue and we had to abandon as the cyst just grew and no follicles did... the other times we waited for the next month and it all went fine and it was gone. I know it’s so disappointing and every week feels like a month, I really get it. But it really is best to delay xx

Oh love, this really sucks and I’m sorry.

I had this too - they put me on the pill for a month and then rescanned and it had disappeared. I know a month feels like forever though, especially at the moment. Also don’t worry if they haven’t put you on the pill - I read after that this is considered quite old fashioned now. Hopefully you can crack on soon xx

Thanks for replying dear. Yes my doc assured me it is common. He said it will go away.

I took a whole month off work to stay home during my cycle cause of covid. Now i have to explain why im going back in.... Its so hard and have no idea what to say to my colleagues

Sometimes i feel ive arrived at my peak of tollerance however somethibg inside says try one more time. Hope one day it will happen❤️

Understand what you mean. I've found strength and tolerance I never knew I had, but then I would have preferred never to have found out I had this much! Lol. You got this! Aww I’m so sorry. It’s horrible to have a cycle cancelled!! I got an ovarian cyst after egg collection and it went away on its own after a month xx

Really sorry this has happened. I have just been in the same situation as you but luckily mine has shrunk and they are happy to go ahead as it's not producing hormones. Have they done a blood test to check if it's producing hormone? If it's a hemorragic cyst then it's not usually an issue, although I suppose it does depend on size. I'm sure your clinic are just looking out for you and want you to have the best chance of success. Our last cycle was cancelled too though so I do know how you feel. X

My doctor felt its better to postpone a month than to check hormones. She said she doesn't want to risk it. I have to have faith and hope it goes away. I was day 2 today. Did yours shrink in a few days?

I'm sure they will be doing the best for you. My last scan was last Monday and it's shrunk since then. If you are only day 2 of your cycle they can sometimes shrink after your period. That's what mine did. Hope it all works out for you xx

Hi I hsd this issue. Wasted money on scans for the cycle to be cancelled. I changed clinics they put me on the pill prior to new cycle and it stopped the cysts. Xxx
